How good of a job is Iowa?

I dont trust anyone else besides Bielema or Bobs Stoops to coach Iowa after KF leaves. This Bob Diaco talk needs to stop until he does somthing at Uconn. Has anyone ever thought that perhaps the reason Bielema left Wisconsin and the B10, (besides the money Arkansas threw at him, and coaching in the SEC), was because he didnt wanna be constrained by a contract that said he couldnt take a job at another B1G school while at Wisconsin. Wisconsin and iowa are very similar programs, so I strongly believe BB can replicate his success with iowa, by getting big linemen, and great running backs and tightends. I even think when KF leaves, BB will call Iowa himself and tell them hes interested.

I think Doc is spot on. Iowa brings in a guy for about 2 mil a year, and then bumps the pay when he wins. Like guffus said, if Diaco wins at UCONN and then he would be the next Iowa head man.

This one is easy, Barta succeeded with Fran. He will use the exact same formula. Bet on that

I'd still like Chris Klieman to have a shot. Bobby D @ UCONN, if he turns it around would be a good bet. I don't think Bobby Stoops would have anything more left in the tank than KF does now. Being a coach of a football blueblood takes a lot out of you. I'm sure his brother @ Kentucky would get at least a phone call. But Iowa would be a perfect move for someone like Klieman, ala Tressel @ tOSU.
