Refresh my memory...
Firing Bo after beating Iowa, and then the AD said, well you gotta look at where Iowa is at.....
Backhanded slap for sure, as Iowa handed them that game, and the AD knew it and still wanted Bo gone.

...I'm afraid we are going to get boat-raced in the bowl, again, btw. It's like on like, and Florida has better talent at every positron outside of punter and one cornerback.

Holy shit man, are you high already?Florida has better talent at every positron outside of punter and one cornerback.
Back that up with something objective, though. That's like saying the color blue is better than green. Why?Florida has better talent than Iowa because its in the water down there, they just have more talented football players. The new staff is slowly undoing all the damage left behind by the mess Urban left behind and the awful hire of former golden boy Will Muschamp. They had quite a few injuries this season and won a division that has been down for a few years now. But talent is talent and they have speed and size at nearly every position.
I think that dude is either an expert troll in the style of a typical ESPN announcer or he's really really stupid. Either way probably not worth your time!Back that up with something objective, though. That's like saying the color blue is better than green. Why?
I'm fine being wrong, but give me something tangible.
I like Iowa's chances in this game. The D got something figured out and played really well the last four games. I expect the O line to dominate the Florida front four and for Daniels and Wadley to have YUUUGGGE afternoons. The Iowa coaches are tired of losing bowl games and the seniors haven't won one since they've been there. I think they want to go out on top and find a way to get it done.
Meanwhile, Florida just got housed by Bama and probably don't want to be there, looking down on Iowa as inferior to what they think they are.
So we got all this going for us.
Wow this is the most tunnel visioned glass half empty take I've ever read. The Big 8 days are over. The days of playing 8 community colleges in preparation for Oklahoma and a bowl are over. Look at the stats since 2002. We have 2 Conference titles, they have none. We have multiple top ten finishes, they have none. Our facilities are on par with theirs and we have double the population of their state.Bowl positioning means nothing. And yay, we beat them least yeast and this year. But honestly -- their program is in much better shape than Iowa's.
They have 45 seasons of 9 wins or better, including this one. They have twice as many wins over us than we do over them. Their recent conference finishes are better than Iowa's.
It is a rivalry, but we sound like Iowa State fan right now. By all rights, the MCB is where we ought to be.

Appleby is more talented than CJB? Their run game is better than Wadley & Daniels?
