How does Nebby REALLY feel about the B1G after

being kicked to the curb, down to the Music City bowl? I haven't read much from them and I'm surprised they aren't forming protests and doing a bunch of "#notmyconference" crap.
All they had to do was win.
But they didn't. They folded, like usual lately.
Has anybody seen any good reads you can share?
 
They don't get too high or too low over there, they just keep on going and doing what they do and sticking to the system, keeping the faith, thats just how nebraska rolls.
 
I don't think they care either way. They want to win championships. I think they have the right mindset; the question is whether they can compete with Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, Wisconsin, Michigan State and even Iowa.....
 
The reality is that Nebraska hopped off a quickly sinking ugly ship thinking that it could swim to shore and commandeer a magnificent vessel right away. Now that they've been relegated to cleaning the latrines and cooking duties, they wish they were back on the sinking ship.

They thought they could come into this conference and immediately compete with the likes of Michigan, Ohio State, and Wisconsin, and the reality is that they're getting dismantled by Iowa and Northwestern on a year-to-year basis and suddenly the grass ain't as green.

It doesn't help that a majority of the fan base doesn't seem to realize that recruits nowadays were born post-1998 and the "glory days" of Osborne and Crouch and National Champions and fumblerooski aren't worth the stone of the statues that they're memorialized on.

"Woe is us for leaving and no longer being able to incinerate bottom feeders like ISU!"

You obviously haven't been to Huskerboard. It's an Iowa fan's paradise. Last year it was like 1,000 three year-olds flopping around on the floor at Walmart and screaming at the tops of their lungs because mommy won't get them a new Barbie. You know, like that video of the Asian lady at the airport who missed her flight and is having a psychotic breakdown. Google it. That's what Huskerboard is.

This year is even better because they got their hopes up by beating all of those losing record, bowl ineligible teams.

And yet none of them can admit that they suck. It's pure delusion. At least around here we know we aren't great.

There is still a question about that? Please look at recent history and you will have your answer. They haven't competed well against those teams.
 
There was a thread some time back about if they should align with the former Big 12 again. Many weren't happy in the BIG and not happy with the lack of success they've had.

They may have wanted the Music City over the Holiday Bowl. I get the feeling neither Iowa or Nebby and their respective fan bases wanted to go out to Cali so short after Christmas.

I wanted another shot at Stanford this year.

And since Jaleel is a senior maybe he could have gathered up 10 or 12 helmet to cheekbone targeting calls against their band at halftime.
 
I think Barta and KF really don't like Nebby for what they did/said after the '14 game. This was a total boss move by Barta, as he smelled blood in the water with the Outback bowl after that ass whipping, and he went and took the Outback bowl as well from Nebby.

I only wish that KF and Barta were cold blooded like this all the time. It is good to respect your opponent, but you need to kick sand in their face when you get the chance to let them know not to **** with you.
 
Tennessee by 14.......Go Vols, screw Nebraska, actually Tennessee by 21, Nebraska won't even show up, and I want Sipple to cry the whole time he's writing his recap of Tennessee's a $$ whooping
 
I'm thinkin' the Shuckers won't be griping too long, nor nearly as loudly, once they're eligible to receive 100% of their B14 welfare check next year.
