How do today's bracket busters affect Iowa??

I think the hawks had a chance for the NIT but now a few more teams getting pushed out of NCAAs. I think this lessens the hawks chances for NIT because a big conference middle standings team that didnt get in the big dance will now bump us.

Going to agree with a post I saw earlier (olivecourt) - they are either firmly in atm, or, not. Those games won't change much as far as Iowa's chances go. Basically, there is difference in predictions between "gurus" - some with Iowa/Denver/Princeton/Ill St in, vs. Weber St/Illinois/Pitt/UMD - something like that.

I should add would New Mexico and Colorado have gotten into the tourney without winning their conf tourneys?

Will Washington or Arizona bump us in NIT?

The Bonnies just added a team to the big dance and the hawks get pushed one rung farther down the list as another mid rpi team gets pushed out of the big dance.

Bad news.

New Mexico was going to be in the NCAA either way they are a good team.
