Saying that a change from GD to BF starting next season, IMO, makes no sense.
Some posters have this irrational animosity towards GD. Iowa posters cite disgruntled Texas posters of GD's offense. Let me make this clear: Iowa posters were complaining about GD as OC before he had called any offense at Iowa.
Then there are other anti-GD posters who prefer the traditional (they call it consistent) pro-style offense that is primarily an I Back running offense with some PA passes sprinkled in. They don't like the increased passing or spread tendencies that GD's offense can have at times. They don't like what GD's Iowa offense has become.. a more efficient passing offense than the pro-style offense.
These other anti-GD posters aren't convinced BF is the answer as OC but they have enough prejudices against GD to want him gone. So many prejudices, in fact, that when statistics showing the effectiveness of GD's offense are provided, these anti-GD's look for, for example, softness of opponents' defenses.
