How did Aaron White do at the NBA Combine?

In the first day of 5 on 5, he went scoreless and looked pretty uncomfortable. The second day he looked a lot better and scored around 8 points but not one of his pts came in transition though as no one was really looking to push the ball. As for the physical testing, no idea. Fran Fraschilla was one of the analysts and believes he’ll definitely get drafted with a small outside chance of landing late 1st rd.

Thanks for the information. I'm guessing the 5 on 5 was the typical players trying to show what they can do individually and not a lot of passing the ball which is not Aaron's game.

6'7 3/4 measured with shoes off. His vertical is pretty average for these guys at 35 inches. A couple were at 40 inches.
Ran across these training videos of Montrezl Harrell of Louisville. Wonder if Iowa incorporates anything like this.

I think he can. White isnt the type of guy that will wow anyone with combine numbers and drills. Hes the guy that will still be sprinting the floor in transition late in the 2nd half when teams are tired, grabbing boards, getting to the line, etc........
 
Most mocks I've seen have Aaron White going mid second round. I think he'll make the roster although he might bounce around for a couple of years until he finds the right NBA fit. Putting the team first being willing to do anything asked of him are traits that help second round picks make rosters. As a second round pick the teams aren't looking for a scorer, they're trying to catch lightning in a bottle or get the right role player. I actually have more confidence in Aaron White then I did for Devyn Marble at this time last year.
 
The right fit is everything. I can see him being a journyman 7th man kind of player for a long time. He may very well be in that inbetween area where he has a decision to make. Say he's a late 2nd rd pick or not taken at all. Is the money he'll make for that out of the gates enough to keep him from going to Europe and playing? I think there's more money for a guy like him over there plus playing time to try and improve his game. I would think more players would want to do that then go to the Dleague (unless your pretty sure your stay in Dleague won't be long. That money is peanuts from what I've heard.

Yeah, d-league money is poor but if he could stick on a NBA roster for about half a year he'd probably get around 300,000.00 in salary and I'm guessing Europe would probably max out around $250,000.00 for the entire year for a first year pro. I'm not real sure what you get paid overseas but I've heard there's good places to sign and others where you don't get regularly etc.. If playing time and further development is in Aaron White's plans then Europe is probably his best bet. It probably would be a good idea to reach out to Greg Brunner for good advice.

I believe the shorter heights are what they measured without shoes and the taller heights are with shoes. I could be wrong but I thought that was what I read. I have no idea why they measure with shoes off.
