I love that it was spontaneous from the crowd and not something manufactured by the university. It makes it more of a personal experience. Unexpected treat

Man, it was just incredible. From what I remember.... I'm pretty sure it was during a commercial break so the stadium was dead quiet. They started playing "Hypnotize" by Biggie and of course the lights started in the student section. Before you know it the whole stadium was lit up. I don't know, it just worked perfect with the song.

It was really cool, and looked like it started in the students section, sit in the outdoor club seats, and for sure started in the student section, way to go UI students!!!

With the blackout crowd the lights really stood out. It was a great idea and it was really cool to see on TV as well. I didn't realize it wasn't a planned thing. Props to the students for pulling it off.

It was very cool. Hopefully we can get at least 2 night games again next year ... can't beat the atmosphere. Would also love to see Grapple on the Gridiron II next year but would require a night game for football to pull it off logistically.
