How Bronco! BSU looking Good

How was the late hit BS?

The whistle was late and the receiver was still running up the field...what is he supposed to do, not tackle? He made a good, physical football play and there was no obvious intent to do harm. It wasn't a high hit to the helmet. Penalize a player for hustling and making the right play, that's why it's BS.

Go Beavers! Root for OSU on Sept. 25.
Maybe somebody else can trip them up? Probably not. Kellen Moore gets hurt? Then somebody beats them. We don't even know who the backup is. A lot of season left.

So they play Oregon St. and their season is over. Both teams looked sloppy. Different game if one of those teams had a Big Ten defense.

Yes, good explanation of my earlier post. You said it better.

Anyone see the big Hawk flag in with the Boise State crowd as all the B. State players were celebrating with their fans? Rad.

Just using your own argument.

What!? I said Boise St. can suck a fart out of @$$ and you come back with, "but they're in a weak conference". How are you 'using my own argument'? The more I read your posts, the further convinced I am that you're one of those people that thinks they've got it all figured out and you're just so damn sly that nobody can even touch you. If I could only be as clever as you...damn!

They're going to be hard to beat - by anyone.

I agree with you that they can beat anyone, but they can't beat anyone WEEK IN AND WEEK OUT. I'm sure they could beat Ohio State, Penn State, Iowa, Wisconsin, or Michigan in one game; but if they had to go through that schedule, no one would predict them to win all those games. That's why a one loss Ohio State or Iowa or Florida, who has one loss against a quality team, deserves to play in the national title over a team who has one win against a quality team.

This argument that "they can play with anyone" is irrelevant.

This. There is a big difference in being able to beat anyone in 1 single game and being able to endure a conference schedule week in and week out. The players and the coaching staff have to prepare differently when you have to play a teams like Ohio State one week and Iowa the next as opposed to focusing all off-season on one single game that will make or break your season. I give them credit for the win, they basically went on the road and won it, its just unfortunate that now they are spending the next 3 months with a schedule made of teams that if on Iowa's schedule, people would call them cupcakes.

They may be good but I think NC is out of their hands. At least Hawks can say if they run the table they will be there.

You obviously don't understand (I did it again!) sarcasm. You see, earlier in thread you mentioned that Boise played in a weak conference, etc, etc, same tired argument, etc, but when they go on the road and beat a top 10 team all you can say is "suck a fart?"

Is that a fact, or are you just playing in hypotheticals? Based on what has actually happened on the field, Boise (I think) has beaten every BCS conference team they've played since losing to Georgia in 2005.

Nope, I was wrong - they lost to Oregon State that year, and to BC in the bowl game. Also lost @Washington in 2008, which seems somewhat surprising.

Here is what it breaks down to. Boise st HAS TO have VT or another team finish in the top 15 for them to have a shot at playing for the NT. If VT drops off bad or they end the year with no ranked teams I cant see any way the BCS computers put them ahead of even a one loss team.

So their record against BCS teams is what? 5-4, in that time period. Impressive.

The only person that I think it makes sense to, is you. I don't know if you've noticed this, but there's a lot of things that you don't really connect and make actual sense of. Oh yeah, that's right, how could I forget? You're on a totally different level than everybody else. Hardly nobody else agrees with you on this issue because we don't have the intelligence to, right?
