...until the opening drive and the Iowa defense gives up a seventeen yard completion on third and sixteen.:p

Then the remote control goes flying and you (all of us) are sucked in until the end of the bowl game in December or January.

I am going to enjoy watching the Hawks march to the College Football Playoffs and the National Championship!

I hope we open up the offense some. I hate watching us run to the short side of the field on 1st and 10 80% of the time. Or on every flippin' audible.
I hope BF is given the offense. And he turns Fant into Gronk and Easley into Welker.

Open UP offense is vital.Noah catches many short passes to allow o-line to settle in.3 tight end sets? Starts with YOU know who....Kok would be very helpful. It can be done.Still??GOHawks.And Hawks waay tough..Always are.

....from the comfort of my own couch....within 20 steps of the both the bathroom and fridge. 55" HDTV (three season room) or 72" HDTV (man-cave)(both with surround sound) at the ready....decisions, decisions.

Rough summer in my man cave. No flooding but neighbor tore out old deck, installed new patio, and vibrations knocked two shelves off the walls. I lost fragile collectibles dating back to the 1990's. Ouch! Not to mention to noise freaked out my kids who were home...didn't see the cat til the next day. Time to start collecting again. At least the 55" big screen and surround sound were intact, they were on the other side of the the room away from the bar, and it's nowhere near as bad as getting your basement flooded. Just put up new shelves yesterday. Ready for some college football. Usually stick to soda for early games but may crack a few open for 2:30 or later, especially if with larger group of people. I'm one of those people who can watch football alone, with family, with friends, or any combination.

You ditch your season tickets?

Re-directed my discretionary income.

For a number of reasons.

Still a "get nervous all the time" fan and will attend several games (including two road trips), just through a different mechanism this year.

And he turns Fant into Gronk and Easley into Welker.
Why does every white WR get compared to another white WR? It used to be Ed McCaffrey. Every white guy lined up on the outside was gonna be the next McCaffrey. Then it turned into Welker. Why is that?

And why do announcers have the same list of compliments for white wide receivers? "This guy has a high football IQ." "Hardest working guy on the team." "First one at the facility every morning, last one to leave." "Total gymrat." "He's not the fastest guy out there, but he has a high motor."

What time should I be there? I'll bring the pork rinds.

That's cool. The tickets were getting pricey. Have you plotted your road trips?

Minnesota is ready to go. Taking my kids for our "birthday" weekend.
I'm working on Purdue now.

Home schedule was under-whelming (sans ISU/Wisky). Work schedule interferes with both unfortunately.

I'm taking "Buckeye Bob" to the Maryland tilt.

If Iowa makes a decent bowl game, I'll have enough funding left over to go.

You are seeing way more than the comment says.
I used Welker because he was the best slot receiver on the best offense in the NFL for a long period of time. And BF comes from NE. So I used him as the example.

I merely asked a general question, bud.
