Hotels in Evanston, Minneapolis, and Bloomington

Hey guys gonna make all 3 road trips this year and I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for hotels? I am pretty sure we can find one around chicago (been there several times.) But Bloomington and Minneapolis scare me. I have never been to either place and just kind of wondering what their tailgate scene is like. Any useful info would be much appreciated! Go hawks!

Bloomington is a great town for a weekend tailgate ok nothing great, but you can stay in Bloomington or Nashville, IN cute little town about 20 min from stadium. Really nice during fall lots of little shops and restaurants.

Minneapolis is a nice town as well but this will be first year for tailgate at new stadium. Chicago is best in wrold stay downtown and take train up to Evanston for the game and enjoy the entire weekend in Chicago.
