Most impressive to me this game is the relentless effort, hustle and attacking. Getting loose balls, battling in the boards, dare I say ... good defense?

You sorta answered it already regarding Peyton. He's emblematic ... Ya just can't rely on this team and NEVER know what you'll get.

I was as optimistic coming into this year as I've been in some time. I'm still a regular but the feast / famine - especially from the shooters - and the stretches of horrible defense and rebounding are just SO frustrating. I get how a casual fan would easily check out after some of the blown leads (ISU, UT ST) + the Wisc game.

It can be very frustrating for sure.

Also ... As many have mentioned ... Kudos to Fran for avoiding that urge to dick around with the winning lineup with some whacky hockey-like shift change.
