Honey Badger Hawkeye

What I don't get about this story is that HB "may have failed 3 drug tests"

What the heck does this mean if this is why he was dismissed from the team and the school?

He was found with some alcohol in his system? Ain't that legal?

He was found with MJ in his system? Don't millions of Americans function quite well smoking some pot here and there. Not to mention the use of medical MJ? let alone huge numbers of current doctors and lawyers, professors and judges, cops and firemen, elected representatives and captains of business who have smoked and or continue to smoke pot?

What if the HB has ADHD or ADAD or whatever it's called and his doctor prescribed Adderal (Tyler Sash downer) or ritalin?

I suggest we re-consider our approach to drug laws, the WAR ON DRUGS, the criminalization of people who use drugs and drug rehabilatation.

Any thoughts.

I believe I read that if an athlete fails three drug tests, he's ineligible under NCAA rules. I haven't fact checked that, though, so take it FWIW.

I also don't believe the NCAA banned substance list is quite as extensive as the NFL's. If adderall is illegal for a bunch of college kids, I don't know how they make it through finals.

I'm not even going to bother addressing the other stuff in your post.
