Iowa played 6 home games, 2 road games and 3 tournament games. (6/11)

Lets look at other Big10 teams:

Illinois - 8 home games, 2 away games, 2 tournament games and 1 at a neutral site. (8 / 13)

OSU - 11 home games, 2 away games (11/13)

Purdue - 7 home games, 2 away games and 3 neutral site (7/12)

Minn - 8 home games, 1 away game and 3 neutral site (8/12)

PSU - 9 homes games, 2 away games (9/11)

Mich - 9 home games, 1 away game, 2 neutral (9/13)

You get the point. Why in the world are we scheduling so many road games?

What exactly is your gripe? Every year, by default, Iowa will have at least 2 OOC road games, in either Iowa State/UNI/Drake....so Iowa played 3 games in an invitational setting. I guess I don't see what the complaint is?

Also....if you are complaining about all of the "road games" in comparison with other teams around the conference....take a look at your own post. Iowa played 5 "road games". Illinois played 5 road games. Purdue played 5 road games. Minnesota played four road games. Michigan played 4 road games.....I just don't see it dude.

I wouldn't constitute the Paradise Jam as an away game. Neutral site early in the year for the guys to have some fun away from Iowa.

Last year was the same thing, two away OOC games, and then a tournament at a neutral site.

I wouldn't say Iowa is scheduling a lot of road games, take away the tournament games and I would bet those would have been home games. Take out neutral site and tournament games and look at everyone else.

Iowa 6/8
Illinois 8/10
OSU 11/13
Purdue 7/9
Minnesota 8/9
PSU 9/11
Michigan 9/10

I guess my point is that Iowa needs to stop playing UNI and Drake on the road. No way we should be doing a home and away series with those two in-state teams. If they want to play Iowa, they play us in Iowa City.

Before you try and correct the UNI away game, I'm talking about the years we travel to UNI for a game.
