HN TV: Brian Ferentz Media Availability 9-7-22

He certainly did not seem to foreclose a QB change. Just basically said everyone needs to get better, including the coaches and QB. He was not holding back too much on Spencer's mechanics needing to be better and more consistent.

He didn't say it this way, but I get the sense that he was shocked with how shitty the O played and it likely was a combination of mistakes by a lot of positions at different times. Never could get into a rhythym.

If we played a drinking game where we chugged everyone time Brian said "the reality is...." I would be hammered right now.

All I can say is that this better be a joke.

Petras is in his 3rd year. If not by now, not happening.
Move on.

For Heaven’s sake. You can go on Facebook and get Hawk Central’s Iowa football stories every day, free. I have told you this numerous times. Read.

Then the 7th month it goes up to $38 a month automatically. Been there done that.

Not 100% true as some stories require a membership. For example the following story I clicked on required a membership;

“Let's skip talking about quarterbacks and Iowa's offense for a moment to examine turnovers, the plan against Xavier Hutchinson and the Kinnick Stadium intangibles. Chad Leistikow delivers his Cy-Hawk analysis and prediction, plus takes a look at the other 13 Big Ten games.” When clicking on this story a membership link popped up.

Now to be fair to you I did click on four more stories and had no problem getting assess to them.

By the way thank you for pointing this out. I’ll take the free reads.

Brian doesn't want anyone to panic about the offense after only one game.
Hoping he can convince fans this is an early season aberration, not a continuation of the 5th year of inept offense.

Yeah, I set a reminder on my laptop to cancel a week before the trial period was over

In fact, this Monday I called to cancel. The customer service rep asked me why I wanted
to cancel. Told her I couldn't afford the regular subscription price

She immediately offered me another Six Months for ONE DOLLAR

I jumped on that one

No way I am ever going to pay the usual subscription cost

As it turns out, I received One Year of the DMR for TWO DOLLARS

It's All Good

I just had lunch with a buddy and his solution is that the green jerseys need to come off at practice and the QBs are fair game in drills. If Petras is such a practice warrior, but withers when the bullets are flying, maybe he needs to practice under game conditions so he can improve and the coaches can see who will play better on Saturdays. I like it.

Glad it workEd. I really do like Chad L.’s stuff. The Gazette often blocks non members on Facebook.
