We know about McNutt...to me, there is pressure on Keenan Davis to live up to the hype this year.

didn't Cotton come in with Davis. I thought he red-shirted 2009 season and was a RSFR last year, making him a RS So this year?

I prefer to consider Davis as having an ''opportunity'' rather than pressure. There is no reason to believe that his lack of playing time the last two years was simply a function of sitting behind the all time Iowa WR. Now, it is time for Keenan to shine.
He took the first step at spring game,and that is only the beginning of a huge two year run for him.
I really like our WR corp...McNutt- NFL material, Davis- McNutt clone, KMM- DJK-like,Shumpert- combo of DJK/McNutt, Cotton- Sandeman+, Stagg- Stross-like.

When you add in our TE group of Herman,CJ and Derby...you have a ton of weapons for Vandy to call on. Throw our RBs out there catching a few passes,and a good o-line, and Iowa could have the best offense since 2002...I honestly believe that.

Yeah, totally forgot about that...he has been off the radar, but again, not uncommon for most second year players that had the likes of DJK and McNutt ahead of them

Word on Shumpert is that he does really well when there is no defense on the field, but struggles when the bullets start flying.

Davis is the real-deal & will have a major break-out year this year. (I was happy to hear this as I haven't seen much that would lead me to believe it...)

KMM has a great feel for the position.

Cotton has been a disappointment.

Marcus Grant has been impressive in all the informal work.

From what I saw during the spring scrimmage there's no reason Davis cannot have a breakout season. There's just too much talent for him not to have a breakout year.

I have a feeling we see Staggs as the 3rd receiver and PR.
I am a little concerned that Cotton has yet to see the field. I know he had the likes of McNutt and DJK in front of him, but he's been passed by a WO and at least 2 FR. Maybe he can see some PR or KR duty.
