Regardless of who is right or wrong, is it accurate to say that the kid is pretty broken and not all that close to being back on the field? Either way, I don't mind taking a flyer. You got 85 scholarships and use about half of them for PT in any given season. I like bringing in a leader and a talented guy and hope that he is a quick healer.
I’d think a P5 program as conservative as Iowa’s would do a lot of vetting with the recruit and medical personnel before bringing him on. They know waaaaaay more than we do is all I’m saying.

He does. He and Hockenson are two of our best wham blockers we've had at tight end and we've had a lot of them. We have 2 pretty good ones right now. He just fits.
