I’m picking Iowa to go to the NCAA men’s basketball tournament | TheGazette

"All this said, I’m picking Iowa to go 11-7 to take a 22-9 record to Chicago for the Big Ten tourney. The eyeball test so far tells me this is a good Hawkeyes squad. Not perfect, not complete. But good, with plenty of room for growth in these upcoming 18 games."

yes, I do think this means we are back. They have a good track record of picking teams mid season. They picked the clowns last year but not this year!

I think this guy's prediction is so dead on correct that we should just skip the rest of the season and start the tourney instead. We will be happy to take a sixth seed in the Big Dance

If his predictions for the Iowa football season (mind you it was week to week not just one big on at the beginning of the season) is any indication of actual results Iowa won't even make the NIT.

I like Mike Hlas but the dude isn't that great at predictions when it comes to Iowa. He was pretty good with other teams though.
