I graduated from Iowa State. Had Iowa Football student season tickets while attending Iowa State.

Apparently you can't graduate from Iowa State and be a Hawkeye fan, but I know tons of Hawkeye fans that graduated from Iowa State.
 
are we going down this road again that you can only be an iowa fan if you graduate from iowa? if so, then my wife and I are stuck only watching NAIA football...

I've heard that a few times from Iowa grads but not too much.

For the most part it is ISU & Minnesota grads who think this way. I have friends that root for teams spread across the country and those are the only two in which that is the norm.
 
I'm fearful that BK has this one right.

We have a lack of talent on the Defensive side of the ball and we are facing a high powered offense. We have made every QB we have faced look like an All American. We will be facing the best QB we have played this year. Why do people think there will be different results?

When you have a talent issue, things aren't going to change much in a 1 week span.

Not me. I actually feel much more confident now that Kaldenberg has predicted this. Now if he just links a video clip of Lee Sterling saying Michigan is a solid favorite over Iowa I will have 100% confidence in the Hawks on Saturday.

No. Northwestern is going to win this game by 10+. They will dink, they will dunk.... just like they've always dinked and dunked. We'll keep it close during the first half though.

After numerous 3 and outs and/or punts from inside our own 40 yard line, our defense will have been on the field a lot... and it will start to show towards the end of the 3rd quarter.

We'll look exhausted in the 4th quarter as NW salts away sizable lead on their way to a 27-17 win. And unfortunately, the boo birds will be heard loud and clear.

That not how it works in sports. We made the plays and won that night. I bet we would beat Minnesota by 25+ each game if we played them 5 more times this year but you dont see me in every thread about the Minny game using that argument.

You were wrong, you are pretty much always wrong when it comes to football talk/predictions....get over it.
 
why? i'm guessing you think we lose then, and you say you'd LIKE to see what happens? this is why people don't think you're a hawkeye fan
 
I look at his op as saying the way it looks on paper the score should be such, so we will probably win. Like the opposite of how it should have been last week. More just stating the jekyl n Hyde of Iowa football. Carry on
