Hey Stormin, any update to your 2006 info?

It certainly isn't a secrte that Stormin has, I wouldn't call it an agenda, but he has a point of view that he likes to profligate. The fact that he has never waivered is admirable...kind of. He has been slipping lately, and his attempts to call people out (without calling them out) have not been helping.

that's just a compelling argument right there. i just hate reading people who have a point of view... especially when they "profligate" it.

The post on the blog was based on someone asking about the attendance during Alford's era vs coaches in the past. Then other posters talked about the decline compared to the Big Ten. I was giving graphical evidence for their concerns. There wasn't any agenda.

In regards to Lickliter - How about what I said initially about his hire?

I'm by no means the grammar police, but we know Ghost's love for pointing out others' errors in grammar.

You also made the following comments

He has failed in all phases, badly.
 
A few things. First of all, I am not degrading Storm for his point of view. If anything, Storm has the most cogent and coherant point of view on this board. I very much enjoy reading his things, because he never gets too emotional and writies things which are, basically, stupid.

Second, Storm, deny it all you want, but your "Sure is quiet around here" post after the Northwestern game served the function of, whether or not you intended it to, calling people out. I think the incredible number of views and responses kind of bares that truth.

Third, there is only one time a play grammar police, and that is when a poster insults a poster, often times calling out their intelligence, while simultaneously making spelling or grammar errors. If it's not ironic, it's not funny, so I won't point it out.
 
I'll give you that. I really did blow it with my post-NW win thread. Not the smartest thing I have done on here... and probably won't be the last stupid thing I do on here. My attempts to prove that posters on post when Iowa loses seemed to pick a fight between the factions of the fan base. That was just dumb. Not my intention, but in hindsight I should have been smarter than that.
