I have studied this since yesterday. I think the OP not only meant to post a lively song in off topic and get everybody going and in a cheerful mood, but he really was starting the beginning of a song but he had trouble with spelling and then gave up. Long posts on the phone are often a patience-building exercise. I was thinking of Mickey too when I first came across this thread but there was no way I was going to try typing the lyrics out on my phone. A tip o' the cap to you for doing so.

I only wanted to say that I was sorry to read that Ricky Davis was cut from his D league team and that his come back try was probably over.

I really liked Ricky Davis. Wish he would have stayed with the Hawks another year. Could have used him Mr. Davis's last season.....

The thing I liked the most about Ricky Davis was his solution to getting one more rebound to set some sort of record. After the other team made a basket, the ball was tossed inbounds to Ricky who threw it at his own backboard and caught it.

At the time they counted it as a rebound, but I believe they disallowed it later.....
