Hey Perrault

Did your mommy go to college with you?

Sounds like you think college athletes need a coach AND a mommy with them at school.

Would it be too much for these "kids" to be responsible for their OWN actions, rather than laying it at the feet of Ferentz?

You were right about one thing ... most of these players HAVE been coddled their whole lives. Sounds like you are recommending even more coddling as a solution to that problem.

it is tough to listen to those guys, so i did not. 104.1 much better this time of year. when he was going off on how ferentz didn't care about his players, didn't have relationships with players, he lost me.

Please tell me you don't take Perrault seriously!! Do you realize he is one and the same person that scoffed at, laughed at & hung up on a Sports fan for thinking the Big Ten was going to play 8 conference games in 2011? And do you realize the Big Ten IS going to play 8 conference games in 2011? WAKE up!!! The loser has no clue!!!

M&M can be informative at times, and overall I don't really have a problem with them, but the over sensationalism that they are spinning on this story is outrageously funny at times.

Look, some questions weren't answered, and further questions may have been opened up, but the fact that they are pretty much saying that Kirk doesn't care about his players is out of line. Kirk cares about his players as much as he can given the amount of responsibilities that he has to juggle. Now, should there be more of a circle of trust within the team between the coaches, staff, and players? Absolutely. Somebody knew DJK's situation, more than likely a player or players knew. It's hard for a person to throw friendship allegiances away when it involves possibly getting a guy kicked off the team, so I understand why things may have never been brought to Kirk's attention. But the notion that Kirk has to know everything about all of his players is over the top.
