I was especially glad to see West Lyon win. The announcers went on and on about "the advantages" Regina has..ton of monetary support, ex and current U of I players helping out, special U of I grad student support for nutrition/mental health/work out issues. Man.

Yeah I love to see it.

WL staff are salt of the earth great people. Goes to show what culture and hard work can do without a ton of money. They do things the right way, have smart coaches and dedicated kids.

The biggest thing they do at WL is they start preparing for high school sports when kids hit kindergarten. I don’t mean that in a bad way, I mean that their sports programs are top to bottom. If you want to have a really good senior football/baseball/basketball/volleyball class, you have to have a really good 6th grade class too.
