After watching that...does anyone know how to tackle anymore? All I see sometime are guys trying to bang into a runner thinking they'll go down.....good call HH, shoulders square and that's hard to stop...nice run...he was determined...love it...

Imagine Weisman and Canzeri in the backfield together. A night mare for defenses. You have to gang tackle one guy, but you don't dare let the other one out of your site. The possibilities for misdirection and counter plays are endless. You stack to stop Weisman and we toss in the flat to Canzeri... you spread guys out to cover Canzeri (and Powell) and Weisman will plow right through you...play action passes... etc etc

Please...please..make it happen. Better yet...please hire me for O.C.!

When can you start? :)

Great blocking, great power running and horrible tackling from the "blackshirts"

Do they call themselves blackshirts anymore? It was really funny in the B1G champ game last year, and because it was on Fox they had to have stupid intro videos, how they talked at length about the renowned Nebraska defense before it gave up 63 points in the first 3 quarters. I thought they all sort of abandoned the blackshirts name after that.

I would love running Weisman up the gut with Canzeri jet sweep action. Those plays are hard to defend, Wisky runs it to death.

Every year the fan base is reaching for reasons to declare the blackshirts are back. Never seems to happen.

Nebby 55th this year in scoring defense. 62nd in rush defense.

Oc job, humpf. Pa/guru, is the way to go. Small salary, paid travel, food and lodging, along with extra tickets. No media, no fans. Just observing and talking ball.
All wealthy people have pa's and or gurus so no questions asked.
I learned a long time ago to evaluate jobs by responsibilities compared to salary. Being a oc or dc, has to be one of the most under appreciated jobs there is.
That is unless your goal is nfl hc. Then it becomes about money and fame and no longer about the game. Money, ok, fame, you can have it.

I think he got a bad spot - didn't they mark it at the 1yd line? S/b 1 ft line...but I'm splitting hairs now, could a been a big deal last week...

I thought that was the play of the game — it set quite a tone and made a statement. The Hammer basically, on one play, said "give us your best shot, and expect a war."
