Let me rephrase - Marble drove to the bucket for the lead with no control and lost the ball. Yes, Wisky hit their FT's. Iowa had no answer on the other end. Hawkeyes choked...again. Hard to swallow but true.

Did you watch the same game I did...I guess I agree the kids didn't...but the guys in suits and ties gave them no chance.

At the very worst we at least split Purdue and Illinois and that's, like, the absolute worst case scenario that has a .001% chance of happening. Even tednugentfan thinks that comment is nuts.

Hopefully we figure out how to finish games before we get to the tourney. The hunt for a conference title is over so now we have to focus on improving and prepare for the NCAA tournament. I don't understand how it seems like every team we play has a BIG guy who can turn and take the ball to the rack. We are missing this type of player and the crunch time player. It's a vital component needed for most teams to be successful. On a brighter note Josh had a good game. Maybe he will step forward and be our go to guy......... If we can get him the ball in crunch time. Was Zach fouled on that last shot???? How could he miss that badly?

Simply because he is not someone that should be playing basketball at this level. Good guy and plays with hustle but just not good.

Sorry Wham. Huge Hawk fan for almost 35 yrs. IA Engineering grad. It hurts when they lose. It sux. Wish I didn't care, then it wouldn't hurt. Isn't that what a fan is? Love the team so much it hurts when they lose, and upsetting. Endured countless close losses. I guess I can't come here and vent. Sorry wham job

Maybe if we didn't have such layoffs to end the season. We still have to make up the IND game, can't get in any groove. Don't be shocked if we lose out to end he year.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did but ironic thing is they are actually better on the road this season. There is no way they win at East Lansing though. Oh well, just hoping they make tourney. Probably as a 8 or 9 seed.
