In the process of defending the coaches, he also managed to point a finger at the 13 players and suggested maybe they did something wrong. It seemed a bit crappy to be honest. I know one of the kids who was hospitalized. He's an extremely nice kid and incredibly hard working. I'm sure Pat's comments stung a bit.

I think that is only natural. If you had done something repeatedly, as well as 100's of others without consequence, and now there are problems, it is common to suspect user error. Not saying that is the case, but I can see why someone, especially someone that has gone through this multiple times, would think that.

We really missed Angerer and Edds this year! Although, we also missed our top 6 linebackers as well. Has there ever been a year when our entire 2-deep was out, like this year?

Great. With most of the players being right at 20 years old, way to immature to be drinking, the national media will have a field day on that one too!

Pat is a great person and nice to hear him say that, and from everyone I know in college football coach Doyle is very respected. Just might have been too much too soon for this group, but nobody really knows the answer.
