Here are some ready-made excuses for you guys if Iowa does 8-4 or better

1. I had a perfect bead on this season except last minute Powell showed up
2. This is a 5-7 team except for the guys who didn't play last year
3. This team has 6 NFL guys who showed us nothing last year. Nobody could've predicted that.
4. How often do Michigan, Nebraska, MSU and Wisconson put out substandard teams in the same season
5. We deserved 2-10, just got lucky on Special Teams, which isn't what football is really all about
6. Now that KF is the Dean, officials keep throwing him bones

For those who prefer to attack rather than defend, I offer--

7. Only KF could've held back a team littered with NFLers. 8-4 is a travesty
8. It's nauseating to think what 2012 could've been if the back-ups had played

Let's not have any sheepish crow-eating in December. Let's remain our pompous selves.

Listen, my dog is beautiful and can apparently wink which is special.

Also, I have no idea what this guy is trying to do. I think he MAY be trying to say he thinks the Hawks are going to go 8-4 and he's helping us prepare our excuses. I can't really tell through the dumb.

Do you honestly think those posters (myself included) who think Iowa will have a bad year WANT Iowa to have year?

We would admit we were wrong and be happy as hell on the plane ride to the bowlgame. No excuses needed. Go Hawks.
 
This would be the first time EVER KF would avoid the three year seven wins or under stretch! That would be huge news and a big sign the program is moving in the right direction. I will be the first to point this out, as it will cause a change in the sig.

However, the signs for this year and next are that the trend will continue.
 
You should see the list he has prepared if Iowa goes 10-2. Your eyes would melt - probably best they don't get posted.

You better go back to the drawing board for a better formula once Iowa pulls a few upsets.

Nope formula is the same. Things can change if another game gets added. Basically comes down to winning 60% of games in a season. Adding another game would make it possible to be under 60% with 8 wins. Not sure how people would respond to an 8 and 6 season.
