Heat = Flop Five

Honestly I dont see another team that can compete with them next year, and should'nt have to much trouble getting back there. Chicago might put up a fight if they can get a shooting guard. Stern probably wouldn't mind having them back next year anyways with such good ratings and all.

The mavs weren't supposed to compete with the heat this year. Until proven wrong the mavs are the team to beat as the nba champions.

Given how LeBron performed under pressure in this series, I'm not so sure about that. The pressure this year was pretty high for the Heat. That's going to look like small potatoes compared to the pressure on them NEXT YEAR. LeBron hasn't shown the ability to withstand that kind of pressure, and until he proves otherwise, I expect him to fold.

Sorry I should of specified, I meant no other eastern conference team that could compete with them. Mavs are going to be good again next year, they had alot of injuries during the season and still ended up winning the championship.

It will be interesting to see the moves in the East. Chris Paul is moving. Dwight Howard should be moving. It would seem Chicago won't stand pat, same with Boston. Basically, isn't gonna be the same East in the near future.

I just don't know if LaBron is coachable. Also, Kobe with Howard is better than Wade with LaBron.

Did the Heat lose in the first round in four blowout games or something? It seems the majority of the talk seems to be about how bad they are but I swear I watched them beat Philly, Boston, and Chicago. The Finals I watched had at least three games that could have gone either way. Now they did come up small in the round that mattered most especially Lebron. However barring injury they will be back next year and will probably only get better as time goes on. Other teams have a chance to take steps forward as well but the new CBA might make that a little more difficult for teams that don't have cap room.

That's not true at all. Kobe is on the down side of his career, he was just as bad against the Mavs as LeBron was, he's becoming basically a midrange jump shooter. Howard couldn't even get his team out of the first round. Kobe and Dwight, surrounded by a bunch of scrubs, aren't winning anything. Miami is going to be the best team in the East for the next five years or so.

The funny thing is the Heat's on-court celebration after beating the Celtcis was bigger than when the Mavericks won last night.

Well maybe, just maybe, that's because they beat Boston at home and Dallas won on the road.

Still that is a bit ridiculous to celebrate winning a 2nd round playoff series like that.

And I wasn't talking about the overall celebration of the entire arena. I was talking the on court celebration by the players.
