heard a crazy rumor

I think there were some second thoughts back in September when Woodbury and Gessel committed...more so from his folks making sure he was 100% sure with UNC. But I doubt that is the case right now

If Paige had grown up an Iowa fan, I'd believe it. I'm not calling the OP a liar here, but at the very least, his source doesn't know what he's talking about. Paige has always been a big UNC fan, and as mentioned, the Heels are always "on the right track". He's not coming, no chance.

did you read the post? cause i said i thought the guy was crazy and was just passing it along in fun...

since herby wants a wing that is between around 6'5 this wont make him happy. though he has stated that gesell could play the 2...wait he is only 6'2...that wont work either. i guess that we will have to take a scholly away from clemmons or ingram (because they arent top 50 players) so we can get a wing that is tall enough for herby's standards if this happens.

also players decide to go to schools because of much worse reasons than to play ball with their friends. if that is what keeps him in iowa who cares and as long as it is what he wants good for him. heck i believe collison and hinrich wanted to play together so they both went to kansas that didnt work out too badly for them.

this is just for fun, so don't go crazy, cause i don't believe it, but...

i heard that Mr Paige got second thoughts and asked to be released from his LOI from UNC to come to Iowa. no joke man, dude who told me was serious. i told him no way, but that would be the greatest news in the history of the world.

anywho, back to march madness...

Gesell are pgs which Iowa needs, Ingram is a 6'3 guard, Marble at 6'7 is the only player that has the height to fill a 6'6 to 6'7 wing position.
to get Paige is a major pipe dream as that would mean Roy Toy would have to let him out of his LOI and i seriously doubt he would release him to come to Iowa.
and to those that keep on talking about 6'3 Spearman their would be no improvement in size, but the prospect of a Paige, Gesell pairing in the back court is interesting to say the least
#1 pg and 22nd overall would certainly improve this team

Incorrect. Rumors that are possibly criminal in nature related to WAGS or allegations are not allowed until something is part of the public record, as they could unfairly impugn someone's character.

Unless the rumors concerning WAGS include pics. Nude, partial, or otherwise.

He's one of those bandwagon fans huh? I'll never understand how someone from Iowa can be a "huge" fan of a team hundreds of miles and states away. I want players that want to be here, he obviously doesn't.

Its easy when you grow up watching them play every 3rd day on ESPN or being hyped by the mothership all the time. I used to love watching Carolina play (and still do) but I'm certainly not a fan of them, or ever was.

I'd hardly call it bandwagoning if he's always been a fan. My grandpa has been a Cardinals fan forever, but my dad's always been a Cubs fan. Sometimes that's just how it goes.

I posted this before and got put down for it. Why do so many Linn-Mar hid go out of state? I know we get a few, but we lose a lot.

If all you know is a cruddy suburb of a crappy town, you would want to leave too. :)

In all seriousness though, some kids just really want to get away for college. Can't really blame them. I tell lots of kids that college is a time to broaden your horizons without much risk.

My Dad had a crazy rule. He would pay for your college education provided you went to school at least one-hundred miles away from home. He felt college was a time to get away from home.
