Hawkvids: Best Plays of the Ferentz Era

I know it was in a losing effort but Jones' return in the Orange Bowl was so ridiculous. It was the culmination of an unreal regular season, a week of crazy partying in South Beach and a realization that Iowa was for real. I am a believer that sometimes early big plays can deflate the emotions of a team too soon (see PSU last year, OSU in the title game a couple years back, the Bears in the Super Bowl) and I think it may have happened to Iowa. I do think that USC was the best team in the country that year though. So it may not have mattered.
Anyway, that was the single most electric play I have ever witnessed live. Everyone in our section was falling over each other and it was the loudest thing I've ever heard.

I love the "home movie" version of the '08 PSU FG. Just perfectly raw and right there. And the ensuing noise totally overdrives the little mic on the cam. :)

I just watched Adolphus Frickin' Shelton's play in the PU game (2002) this morning. That was pretty good. Great name, too. I think Frickin' became his middle name after that play.
