Hawks Win by 30 Over Howard

The Iowa Men's basketball team overcame a 4 of 21 shooting performance from beyond the arc to beat Howard by 30 points on Thursday night, 66-36.

A couple of impressions from the 2nd row tonight (woo hoo "luxury" seats!)

Howard wasn't very good at much. They shot horribly when wide open and had trouble with some of the basics such as getting the ball inbounded after a bucket against a full court press.

White is a stud. He does all the little things "right" all night long. He and Marble will be Iowa's glue all season.

Woodbury wasn't much of a factor. Got out-muscled at times. Basabe looks really out of sorts. No flow to his offense, other than dunks. He seems to have lost a lot of confidence and "game."


Gesell is fearless and will win us many more games than lose us. Looking forward to when his shooting catches up to his toughness.

That's really all we need from Basabe in my opinion.

Look Mister L, my Viesels are riding on pedo st vs indiana. Nothing and no one were blown. By Sunday morning I will be rolling in teh Vies's.

Yeah, that's what I did on the Wisky/Indiana game. 2.1 million viesels on Wisky covering and Wisky covers, yet I still no see my viesels. Little Pin man deletes thread and says we get our $$ back but still no see $$. Good luck Vinny...
