Hawks vs Ducks

I'd usually take a Hawk in this fight.
I fear those damn ducks are gonna flock up, hound the hawks, cause turnovers and disrupt shots.
We'll know in the first 5 minutes ...
1) Lucy and Hannah have to score.
2) NO stupid, simple pass turnovers.
3) Can not blow big leads / give up big deficits.
4) Jan can NOT screw around with the lineup that's working.

I'd love to see the starters be Guyton, Lucy, Syd, Hannah and Ava. Hawks could go alternating high / low sets and double low sets.

Won't be able to post much during game so that's my 2 cents for today.

Current ESPN Bracketology has Iowa in play-in for 11 seed with Oregon in as a 10.
This game is make or break to either instill a little confidence and maybe get back on track or send a clear message that Iowa is not a tourney team because they just can't figure it out and put enough together against peer teams.

Terribly run offense in the second half. Just unbelievable. Where are the drive and kicks? Lucy is a bust. Never would've thought that, No dig down on the monster under the bucket. Way to much standing around in the second half. Stremlow can only play decent in Carver. Another putrid showing.

Not a comment on womens basketball but basketball in general...

I wonder how many games in the history of basketball have been lost by fewer points than the losing team's total number of missed free throws.

With the in-depth stats websites out there that have free data, there's definitely a nerd out there who could find out with their confuser in about a half hour. That would be a powerful talking point for coaches to get the point across that every player needs to be shooting free throws 45 mins a day. Run 2 full court sprints every set of 15 FTs to get used to being winded.
