Iowa needs to score, and they did as much today.
I would really like to figure out a way to have the following lineup in as much as possible:
Marble
Gassell
White
McCabe
Bassabe
It's tough on matchups on the defensive end of the floot, but it also puts 5 people on the floot you actually have to guard.
Iowa's defense has kept them in games against the tougher opponents at home. Iowa isn't going to outscore opponents with that lineup, sorry. I respectfully disagree with this lineup.
One thing McCormick said today, and I agree with, is that Iowa's defense is often tied closely to their ability to get dunks, etc. When they get that going offensively, it's near impossible to get good looks against the defense.
Basabe has earned more minutes
I dont remember beating a team that badly on the road in forever - def not in conference play.
It definitely goes back to the Alford era, can't think of any game off the top of my head, but I'm sure we had one then. It was nice to be somewhat relaxed in the last few minutes of a road game (that we were winning).
I couldn't remember the last time Iowa won in Evanston, so I looked it up and it was March 4, 2008, 67-62. Lick's first year. We made a bunch of 3's in that game and basically played only 6 guys.

The Hawks started conference with Indy, UM, and MSU. Those teams are just better. Just awesome only one was a complete no contest.
This was the first game that really mattered beyond SOS helping RPI.
I'm not all that sure I believe that when it comes to Michigan State. I really didn't come away all that impressed with them.
