These look like Michigan uniforms. Not my favorites!

Outside of the first few minutes of the second half, what stands out to me is the amount of EFFORT on both sides of the court. It truly seems like they are playing as a team and I love it.
Stirtz and Banks stand out from what I have seen so far this season, but this group is going to give us a lot of exciting basketball this season.
I am already counting them as one of the teams battling in March, with the real hope that they will make it out of the first weekend. I didn’t have that the last couple of years.

All in all a solid game and the Hawks are adjusting quite well

Pretty good estimate. My NN section was pretty full.

Totally possible that I just missed him, likely even, but I don't remember seeing Koch out there in the second half. He only played 13 min total. Could just be the other edge of the blade with so many players having played together last year...and it's going to take time for him to find his rhythm.

Yeah he only played briefly at the start of the game

He was playing well at the time

Think he will be a valuable fit as the season goes on

Attendance was 11,600.

I have been wrong about Iowa and supporting Fran for as long as I did. I didn’t see a coach like this coming along. Long ways to go and we’re going to discover flaws, but man, what an upgrade Iowa basketball made this off season.

300 bleacher seats directly under the basket on the south end. Looks great. Right in opponents faces!
