That is the thing, tho. They got away with it until this game.

And they will get away with it in more games this season. There are a few teams like Illinois size-wise we will have to deal with. I knew when I first saw them play that this one would be a tough one.

Good thread title ... DEFINITELY "rough".
No expectation of W (for next 2 or 3 games) but wasn't expecting complete demolition.
U chastised me in Minny thread for "meltdown" but it was just objective observation and truth. They just aren't same "looking" team against real teams. Slow offense too easy for B10 teams to defend when I thot the early season passing / cutting was really crisp. Now, so easily disrupted can barely get a shot off in timeclock. Add in, shots not falling and undersized to defend... They are who they are (only 4 games in or not) ... The Iowa Bulldogs.

Now, all that said ... I LOVE the grit, LOVE the style, LOVE the intensity on both ends ... complete BBall haven't seen at Iowa in years. Just need some Jimmy's and Joe's with B10 size to match the bball IQ and effort.

Pretty accurate. We are Drake this year. Well coached with second division talent. Still like McCullom He needs to have some success in the portal. Won’t be easy as I’m not sure we have a lot of money. Hopefully McCullom can evaluate players that fit his system.
