Hawks receive commit from 360 lb Soph DT

I grew up in Clermont IA, ~10 miles away. My old high school is now joined with North Fayette. Have heard this kid loves him some Hawkeyes and has for a while. Nothing but Iowa fans up there, so personally I'm not going to worry about him switching. Nevertheless keep on him Kirk.

He took like 3-4 unofficial visits this year. Not usually something you do if you're not really into the program.

Here's his Hudl footage from the state championship game against Sioux Center. Pretty impressive

Sounds like a great recruit. Might need to skip a turn in the chow line but it sounds like he knows that already.

So I think the important question to ask is, did that poor QB from Sioux Center live?

Love the kid, he's going to do alright. Man, with his frame I tell him to either turn into Nate Newton and play left guard or copy Carl Davis game and play nose tackle. Good pickup, glad he's going to Iowa

Great pickup for the Hawks and great for Juan Harris. Sounds like he's no dummy and is looking to the future. Some kids just have it and make mature decisions early. Welcome aboard young man.

Very exciting recruit, but it's 3 years away, that's a long time before we see him in Black and Gold.

But I like it.

That was the easiest offense to predict with the exception of the 2 FB runs and the counter (where he pulled). Ran behind him every time.
