Hawks lost to ISU that just got pounded by a bad Kansas team

As an ISU fan it's as bad as I've seen it. I could see Rhoads surving this year due to the stadium expansion eating up all available cash but man those last few games are going to have some really sparse crowds. I sure as heck don't want to go.

Well, it does for a good portion of this fan base that likes any excuse to get the hell out of Iowa for a nice little trip south in the middle of winter.

People like that are why I'm actively hoping that we play in the Pinstripe this year.

Likely to be gone first? Rhoads or Ferentz. Keep in mind a 6-6 campaign next year probably saves Rhoads' job and KF is probably locked in for another 3 years.

I think the hawks beat Illinois.

Just like the betting rule to take an NFL team that was embarrassed in its previous game I think the hawks come together to find a win.

I did see a lot of the first half of Minny at Illini and Illinois's defense looked tough and fast or Minny was sleep walking, not sure which.

Iowa's loss yesterday could take on a different look if Minny wins out, which I doubt.

I could honestly see Rhoads gone after this season, especially if there are 30k tops in the stands for the last two games.

With the KU game Rhoads entered the McDermott zone. Not a matter of if but when IMO. I do think Rhoads gets another year though, there will be a press conference after the season very similar to the one a few weeks before McD mercifully moved on.
