Nate Kaeding (PK/San Diego): Rough start to the year for Kaeding and may be over seconds after it began. The opening kick between the Chargers and the Vikings went to Percy Harvin. He returned it for a touchdown. Kaeding was the kicker..and ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that San Diego fears Kaeding has torn his ACL in his kicking leg.
Robert Gallery (OL/Seattle): The Mountain suffered a sprain knee on opening day.
Scott Chandler(TE/Buffalo): 5 catches, 63 yards two touchdowns for the Bills. Chandler entered the game with more career tackles (4) than catches (1). So yeah, it was a career day for the Bills starter.
Ryan Donahue (P/Detroit): Donahue won a closely contested battle to be the Lions punter, supplanting an eight-year veteran...Donahue was consistent in the pre-season, that and he comes about a million dollars cheaper than the veteran. Ryan had a great NFL debut on Sunday, punting five times with a 48.2 yard average and three of his punts were downed inside the 20
Amari Spievey (DB/Detroit): Spievey was one of two former Hawkeyes to lead his team in tackles on Sunday, recording seven.
Dallas Clark (TE, Indianapolis): The start of a looong season for Clark and the Colts faithful. Life without Peyton Manning is going to stink. Clark had four catches for 39 yards.
Pat Angerer (LB/Indianapolis): Angerer led the Colts with nine tackles and also had a forced fumble.
Chad Greenway (LB/Minnesota): Greenway had eight tackles, all solos and two for loss.
Bob Sanders (DB/San Diego): The Bullet had 6 tackles, three solos
Mitch King (DL/New Orleans): Recorded one tackle on Thursday night
Bradley Fletcher (DB/St Louis): Recorded four tackles, all solos and had one QB Hit.
Matt Roth (LB/Jacksonville): Recorded one tackle, a sack
Karl Klug (DL/Tennessee): Recorded two tackles and one QB hit.
Charles Godfrey (DB/Carolina): Recorded four tackles, three solos a day after inking a deal that landed him just over $12 million in guaranteed money.
Tyler Sash (DB/Giants): Recorded two tackles, one solo
Shonn Greene (RB/Jets): 10 carries for 26 yards, one reception for 7 yards
Jeff Tarpinian has been downgraded to 'OUT' status for New England's Monday night game.
Ricky Stanzi was inactive for the Chiefs game. He is the #3 QB in KC
