Hawks equal to or better than all 8 remaining teams

N Tex at Kinnick could be a big win and play some backups.
Wisc, I think the hawks are even with them but on the road is about a 3-6 pt edge for wisky.
MD, that loss to bowling green was ugly and the hawks are much better than last year for the game at kinnick
Indy, no defense, good offense but the hawks have both
NW, I like the fact that jNW doesnt have much offense in this matchup
Minn, again if Minny cant find any offense I like a strong balanced Iowa at home
Pur, they are pretty bad, the game is two months away but hawks are better and at home
Neb, the hawks had these jokers last year and will be sky high, but what Nebby team shows up is the big question. I dont know how good byu and miami really are but nebby couldnt beat them so not a powerhouse

I think the hawks win 6 of the last 8, losing two of the 4 road games

"Wisc, I think the hawks are even with them but on the road is about a 3-6 pt edge for wisky". - so not really even is it - I think this will be a huge game for iowa - win and you win out - stay close and you are in every game - lose by 14 + and who knows what happens rest of the season

Diesel, please lock and then delete this thread. As the old coach Hayden Fry used to preach, one game at a time. We don't want Iowa players reading this and just thinking they can coast.

I just don't think Wisconsin will be able to do much against Iowa's D. Arranda is good, but honestly Iowa has seen a lot of the 3-4 against ISU and I don't think it will take a half of a game to figure how best to block/attack against the defense.

3-0 right now good start don't get carried away north Texas is first!

I'm pretty sure me looking ahead to the Wisky game won't affect the coaches or players. :p Don't get me wrong I hope they aren't looking ahead, but fans looking ahead affect nothing.

Just try to beat N. Texas. I don't think we are good enough to dominate Wisconsin, Minnesota, Northwestern or Nebraska, so turnovers, injuries, penalties and special teams are going to determine the winner of those very important 4 games. I really like our chances against N. Texas, Illinois, Maryland, Purdue and Indiana if we play like we did in the first 3 games.

Exactly. Part of being a fan is looking ahead and projecting wins/losses/close games. We don't have to just focus on one game. Fans can also stay out all night before the game, drink before and during the game, not stay in good physical condition, and many other things than players can't do.
