Hawks Drop to #10 in Coaches Poll

Style points count. That is why I think Iowa needed to hang another 2 scores on ISU. Same deal as last week. Of course, Oklahoma may have jumped us anyway with their win over FSU.

Problem not just with OK winning in a big game, but also that we played at the same time as all of the big games, so no one noticed how dominating we truly were in this game.

If we can play solid next week I think we get the recognition deserved.

Wow, I guess I never even thought that was a possibility. I guess Sooner voters have a lot shorter memories than the ones that thought every Iowa game ended with 2 blocked FG's last year.

If you swap BSU-Oregon and Iowa-FLA I think it looks pretty good.

Top 20 team on the road at night. Tough week ahead.

Surprised Michigan isn't in the top 15, what with their one offensive threat an everything. If Robinson is upright when Iowa goes to A2, he won't be after the game.

Great to see the Boise State love hold.

So say James Madison wasn't an FCS team. Would they now be ranked above the Broncos? They too have beaten VT in a close game, and unlike Boise State have also blown out another opponent in Morehead St 48-7. The Broncos only have the VT game as they were idle this week.

If you look closer at it there is only 118 pt difference between #5 TCU and #10 Iowa. And if you look at #11 Wisconsin there is 161 point difference between them and us. So it's tough to drop off but not that big of a deal

Add this to the list of reasons why lil' bro SUCKS and this cy-Hawk game needs to go bye-bye as an every year deal.
Exactamente - Win and we drop a spot, lose and we drop five. The risk/reward ratio of this series means that itis stupid to continue in its present form.

1:1 is insane. Iowa would not make thatoffer to any other school in the US at ISU's level.

We need to get 2:1 at a minimum.

3:1 means Iowa would get eight home games every 3rd year, and ISU would sell out their stadium once every four years.
