The only reason the spread isn't higher is because the sportsbooks know full well that favorites tend to pull their starters early in the opening game of the season.

kinda agree - 'cept that greg davis needs to come out with both pistols blazing! this is a special day for the "new Iowa offense". better make a statement and a 3 point win will be discussed for the next 3 weeks every frckn day. 10-7 will not be acceptable in this case. 35-7 is better and more likely!

I know on paper I have been sucked in to thinking Iowa would have no problem with certain opponents. That being said, I do think we have a strong outing and win this one going away. Iowa 30 NI 13
