Hawks 3rd in Big 10 for 2015-2021 wins with 60 per postgame show

I think Saturday the BTN folk mentioned this stat as did Dolph on his postgame. The hawks have 60 wins in the last 6 completed seasons. Ten wins a year with an abbreviated 2021 schedule is very, very good. Think about it 10 wins so we could hardly ask for more but we still do because I think this program could take a step up to almost perennial Top 10 to 15 with a focus on improved offense.

They said #3 Wisky has one more win than Iowa and OSU is first of course with 68 iirc. So as the end of the year chatter starts up about regime changes I note that I just wish Kirk would get a little more aggressive on offense and work on opening up the offense to get more top skill player recruits, oh and maybe a new OC or let the current OC open it up.

Kirk has won plenty enough games and awards to open it up a bit and maybe lose a game or two to win 3 or 4. I bet it is hard for him to shake that western Penn. conservative football ethic. But he showed after 2014 with Kirk 2.5 or 3.0 that it was ok to go on 4th down a lot more instead of punting from your opponents 33 or even try a field goal.

Your thoughts on this 6 year run, good, bad, or indifferent?

Seemed like it was less than a foot but...yeah....SO CLOSE!
That was the moment in my life where I realized that being a Hawkeye fan includes a cursed, life-long 1,000 pound cross to bear. It’s just not meant to be.

I had already accepted it by that time as a Vikings fan, but 2015 was that moment for me as a Hawkeye. I’m at peace with it now and life is much easier mentally because of accepting it.
