Hawks open up as a 17 point favorite over Purdue.

It sounds like Markell Jones, the leading rusher and a very good pass catcher, is questionable at best for Purdue. He had a knee injury in the 3Q against NW and did not return. Their backup (Knox) has had a high ankle sprain injury and replaced Jones but was ineffective (6 attempts for 9 yards)

Purdue is a weird team. I certainly hope iowa doesn't overlook them. They hung with Michigan state and northwestern and beat nebraska....but then got blown out by minnesota and illinois?

20.5 to 21 as of noon on Monday. Could swing quite a bit depending on Markell Jones status for Saturday. He has been one of their few bright spots this year.
