Not a lock at all. I think CMU will bring pressure big-time, and Weisman will not be nearly as effective unless they bring pressure from the outside "exclusively" to open up the middle.

Our WRs really need to step it up the rest of the way, as that opens up the running lanes AND leaves CJF with more "space".

Central Michigan is terrible. UNI would beat them by 2+ TD's. If this game is even remotely close in the 4th quarter we are in for a loooonnnngggg B1G slate.

No KF coached team is ever a lock. Minny last two years. W. Mich on 2007. I do feel strongly Iowa will win Sat.

Jon, you say that Iowa will ground and pound, and I agree. From what I read and hear, Iowa basically has 3 RB's that will run the ball this week: Weisman, Malloy, and Canzeri. Given Ferentz' conservative nature, I would think that Weisman will get the majority of the carries. What makes you think Weisman won't have another big day. He will probably get 25+ carries. He may not score 3 TD's, but how could he not get 100+ yards rushing? How is that not a big day for him?

Game will be close in the 1st half with the Hawks pulling away for the win in the 2nd half.
Hopefully the Hawks can get their running game rolling otherwise CMU QB (Radcliff) might pick the D apart.
Believe he has already thrown for 7,000 yds in his career.

Normally this would be an easy win for the Hawks but his year I'm taking nothing for granted.

Well.....can someone tell me how I should bet my vcash on this one?:D

I actually saw Weisman on a moped this morning near Kinnick. So I'm going with yes, it's a lock. For the record, I was completely uncertain with the last three games.

Do we ever really pull away at the end though? Iowa's style is more slowly build a lead and then in the 4th quarter let teams back in the games.

^ this is so true. how many times has Iowa under KF made what really is a hawk beatdown of the opponent look close with a 10 or 11 point win. I have analyzed and posted the results of what the hawk record would be if the offense would have just scored either 3 or 7 points in each game. Amazing amount of wins and ties.

Here are my Cold Picked Locks and Stone Piped Leads for this week:

Iowa -17
Michigan/Notre Dame OVER
Wisconsin/Whoever UNDER

I fully plan to be vPenniless after this vWeekend.

Palpatine, have you already seen these games in an alternate universe or from the future where you know the outcome? Notre Dame's deefense could be for real so not sure about that over pick. What is the over on that game?

Always in motion the future is. And I have a bad feeling about this. But so far, everything is proceeding as I have foreseen.
