Colin Sandeman missed a block on the Moeaki screen that would have sprung him for a TD. Luckily we scored anyways.

I kinda felt had Moeaki not looked back on that screen play he might of made it to the endzone, I think it cost him about 5 yards! But that was a thing of beauty. Derrick Morgan got punked bad!

No DJK? Anyone have any insight into this?

(This was taped a week ago and see him in this Tuesday's practice photos on the university site - camp central, so, assuming it's not injury.)

It's also been about five years since Iowa had the personnel to run that play effectively. I would imagine that we'll see it dusted off at some point this season.

We ran it with Hinkel some (especially his senior year after he came back from injury). And Brodell lit up the Texas defense with it in the Alamo Bowl. After that, we've only tried it a handful of times, IIRC. And it wasn't overly successful.

As I watch this Orange bowl It reminds me of how good Wegher was last year. We will miss his production this year if he doesn't return.
