Unreal.. Where does one even start. For 2/3rds of this game we didn't deserve to win it. KF was making the most idiotic of idiotic decisions. Yet the guys had zero quit in them. Down two possessions in the 2nd half and MG is just a tough resilient dude. He cemented himself in Iowa fans good graces with that performance. Having a mobile qb is just the ultimate X factor and having one that could throw better seems like is too much to ask for. But turns out we just didn't need to in this one.
XN was everywhere tonight and he was a tackling machine. His pick almost 6 was huge for so many reasons besides just what it did. I've been critical of his play and his coverage over his career but his hitting and tackling has always been really good. They don't win this game without him.
To win that game despite KF trying to give it away it seemed like was just huge. That locker room had to be unfreaking real after it and I'm happy for the players. It's nice to see how when you just play hard and don't give up they can beat anyone.
