Nate Kaeding: 2/2 (52 yard long) 4/4 XP

New Orleans (Mitch King) vs Oakland (Brandon Myers) tonight
NYG (Sash) vs NYJ (Greene) tomorrow

NOTES:

Scott Chandler: Sounds like he is going to be the starter for Buffalo

Donahue: He has performed well this preseason, but likely will not win the job...don't count him out to make another team's 53 man roster to start the year, or if not that, he will need to keep his cell phone on because coaches ditch punters on a whim all the time in the regular season.

Clayborn is drawing attention (midway through item)

Thanks Jon!

A couple of quick adds: Jason Baker averaged 40.3 yard on 6 kicks for Carolina w/ Inside the 20 and a Long of 54; Albert Young just got picked up by the Jags and had 21 yards on 3 carries w/ a long of 13 and 1 rec for 3 yards; Bob Sanders had 1 solo and 1 assist for the Bolts

What happened to Abdul Hodge? I know he played with the Packers, but I don't think he is with them anymore, right? Is he still playing somewhere or is he done?

How many autographs did Greenway record officially?

Jokes aside, it's good to see AC is playing well. His season last year wasn't as good as one would have expected following his 2009 season so I was a bit concerned going in the first round could make people question his talent. I know he got double/triple teamed a lot, but there were times when he wasn't and he didn't seem like the dominant Clayborn of the prior year. He's looked pretty good in the pre-season, though, so that's good to see. Huzzah!

Not a Hawk but former Iowa City prep Adrian Arrington just dropped what would have been a huge first down for the Saints. It would have been a tough catch but one he should have made.

I went to the Chief's game this weekend to watch Stanzi play. Had 4 free tickets and a reserved parking pass from a friend who has season tix. The only thing I saw Ricky do was everything he could to win the game, yet the coaches decided to pull him for the final series and put in Palko, Balko, Balkie, whatever that guy's name is and now the final score speaks for itself. I'm convinced Ricky could have pulled out the win. :)

On a side note, all of the fans we talked to had nothing but great things to say about Stanzi and Moeaki.

Don't you dare count that traitor as an Iowa City native. That offends me.

He went to Cedar Rapids Washington.

So what does this mean? You watched the game or know someone that was there, and Tarp definitely played and the paper just missed?

Or you saw the stats online somewhere and maybe there was a mistake in the boxscore?

Looks like espn, had him as a no go

But the play by play has him getting some ST time in the second

I can't read Twitter at work. I know that the Steelers cut a WR with the last name of Greenwood. Just checked the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, and did not see anything about Brent Greenwood. Watched the replay of the game yesterday. Did not see him on the field, so I don't think that is a good sign!

My bad, you are right it was Eric not Brett......They have to get rid of 4 guys by 4 PM tomorrow....we shall see if he can make this 1st rd. of cuts.

Greene cant seem to get it going tonight, doing ok blocking. Hoping to see Sash soon but who knows with no score yet.
