rob, any idea of his speed stats? the competition level he played with looks avg from the video (the kids look really small) but he looks to have really good hands and makes sharp and sudden cuts in his routes and looks to have good feet. i would have liked to see him getting off LOS against man to look at his feet and hands. he has a some "fake you out" after the catch. if his speed is above avg for B1G, then this kid could be a really big get for us.
Not sure of the speed. He is a good athlete.
someone on another board pointed out that this kid was a good enough LAX player to get a Cornell scholly offer. Now, I think Cornell is top of the line in that sport. this poster stated that LAX players at that level are good in space, have to make people miss and have to have outstanding eye-hand coordination. i hadn't thought about any of that because, i had no clue about LAX. but after thinking on it; this kid really could be one of those diamonds.
Exactly. That's what I was talking about in terms of athletic ability. Lacrosse is a tough sport that takes a lot of agility and hand-eye coordination.
You beat me to it. I was wondering about Stoops too. Would we take a 3rd WR this class?Does this mean Stoops is off the table or are we in best available mode now?
Nico does look intriguing. Hard to judge against the competiton, but he could be a solid slot.

Makes sense if not. It'd be tough to move away from home sweet home like he would be and having a scholly or not is irrelevant to him. He can walk on there. He'll have to be pretty darn good to get on the field beyond special teams down there though. In the other thread with the same title Rob said he's been unable to get in contact with Stoops recently. I believe some crystal balls have also changed to Oklahoma for Stoops in the past few days. I would guess we will not be getting Stoops, but I suppose you never know.

Well after almost 20 yrs of being there with his kiddos and all a fellow can set roots. Not many coaches at that level have the luxury of knowing what that feels like. He and KF seem to enjoy that.I'm surprised Bob still lives in Oklahoma unless he's just waiting until Drake graduates high school. Outside of the deep south Oklahoma would be next on the list of places I would never want to live.
True. I figured he'd go back to Ohio, or failing that, maybe somewhere nice.I'm surprised Bob still lives in Oklahoma unless he's just waiting until Drake graduates high school. Outside of the deep south Oklahoma would be next on the list of places I would never want to live.
