Well, minutes of medical studies seem to indicate that a full recovery, without complications, should occur within 12 months. Peter had his surgery in July of 2011, and he's played three seasons of basketball since without complications, so I doubt he requires additional recovery. It is pretty much accepted that your legs will be 10-20% weaker after recovery.sounds by your diagnosis that it's a lingering problem that not many come back from...
so, maybe, just maybe, he's just now getting them legs back! ?? huh?
Oglesby has one year of experience on Jok, not a "few" years. And we have to stop using the "getting his legs back" thing with Jok. He had surgery on that knee in 2011, and he's played two high school, and one college season since then. If his legs aren't "back", they're never going to be. If he can't be a consistent defensive contributor, he's not going to play a lot in Fran's system.
Its obvious Jok is a talented player. How long would it take for you to come back from the type of surgery Jok had? I doubt he really could play all out the last three years of high school. Hopefully, he will be making a great leap forward this year.
