I seriously don't understand how that can even happen. In a 5 yr period of pitiful offensive performances, that has to take the cake.

They have 2 of the best CB's in the nation, both will very possibly be drafted in the 1st round ahead of King, so I think it was part of the plan, to play 9 on 9. We see how that worked out...
 
Don't be surprised if Wyoming walks into Kinnick Stadium in week 1 of the 2017 season and wins. They had a good team this year and they have a good head coach.
 
Davis' play-calling in the red zone was an embarrassment. 4th and 1 at goalline to Daniels off left tackle when everyone watching knew it was coming. Then the third and four around the 12 yard line and it's off tackle to Daniels again?

Every single time, and I mean EVERY SINGLE TIME, CJ called an audible at the line, it was a run to the short side of the field. After the 2nd time it happened, my 16 year old son caught on and when CJ would audible he'd say "run to short side" and it happened that way every single time.

How dumb is our coaching staff?

I'm not arguing the offensive dimbidity of derkirkFeravis one bit; that's a well known fact. But, if CJ kept calling the same unsuccessful audible, isn't the dumb on him?

Howz 'bout ol CJ find his "sandlot" and play to win? What's gonna happen ... he gets benched; he's off the January depth chart. (Ahahahahaa!) It's like, once he got the guaranteed starting gig, he lost his moxie. (Hmm, like coach, like company-line QB?)

Well...Iowa was in the game longer this year, as opposed to Stanford, which was over in 30 seconds...

Must be some bonus in the contract for that...? Kind of like "riding time" in wrestling?

That's what I'm saying. It's a disturbing pattern - Like a weird cult where they're finally indoctrineutered between their jr & sr years.

I wish there was a Drew Tate out there but wouldn't be surprised if derKerkFer steers clear of such rebel-rousers during recruiting.:(
