Did anyone notice both assistants left the program? They were both hired in the last year. Is that a harbinger of the future? Does anyone know when in 2018 Coach Loopers contract is up?

Any word on the street if admin is going to let her go prior to the end of her contract? That is the second time in three seasons that the entire staff has turned over. Any word on why the assistants left?

I would really like for them to go after somebody like Lisa Fernandez. At least someone of that caliber.

I don't buy that. All anybody has to do is look at her record. It's terrible but I get what you're saying.

I think that if the admin was going to make a move, they would have done it at the conclusion of the season. They are in the heat of the softball recruiting calendar right now and it would be hard to find a coach this late in the process to take the helm of the program. I am wondering why Jake Schuman left the program? I think Looper will be around for another season.

I know through the grapevine they are getting some transfers with Iowa ties that may help the program. We will see when it becomes official.
